Company Main Activities:

Capital construction of objects of housing and civil destination based on all types of materials: stone, composite reinforced concrete. Internal and external finishing using modern high-quality European materials. Reconstruction, re-arrangement, warming and consolidation of buildings and constructions. Production and sale of construction materials and articles.Rigging projection.

Company Capacity: 90 – 100 thousand m2 houses, kindergartens and objects of social, cultural and civil destination per year.

Description of Company Production Basis and Condition of Main Funds:

The area of company total production basis is 10.2 ha.

1. The production and technological packaging branch is placed in Uzinelor str., and includes as follows: closed and open storehouses; branch line; transportation shop; shops of construction materials’ production: concrete mortar production shop: concrete, mortar, reinforced concrete, paving slabs, bricks, fortan, dry plaster blends “monolit”;. armature shop: reinforcing fabrics and frameworks; mechanical shop: embedded metal items, balcony rails, fences; joiner’s shop: wooden doors and windows, platbands, plinths, window-sills, carving wood; metal-base laminate shop: metal-base and aluminium doors and windows.

2. The small-scale mechanization branch is placed in 42, Sihastrului str., and holds all the mechanisms, devices and instruments required for the execution of building and assembly jobs.

The construction equipment, falsework, and transportation used for the execution of building and assembly jobs are held in adequate working condition. The company makes available more than one thousand tons of flexible metal falsework, as well as all existent devices for any type of work.

There are high technical possibilities to produce and process metal constructions, metal frameworks and inserts used for construction of block houses.

Company Short History and Characteristics:

The company has been established in 1948 as the single general construction trust executing the whole complex of building and assembly jobs related to restoration, reparation and construction of housing and objects of social and cultural destination. The trust “Kishivevstroy” was among the first companies in the former Soviet Union that initiated in 1973 the construction of solid buildings. In 1979 the trust was re-established as “Monolitstroy” and became the basic company in the relevant segment of building construction within the Ministry of Construction of USSR.

In 1991 “Monolitstroy” passed to lease form and in 1993 became a joint stock company.

MONOLIT JSC kept over the transition period its original structure, which ultimately determined the current company position as one of the most powerful construction subunits within the country.

MONOLIT JSC has a long experience in the field of construction of high-rise buildings, hotels, offices from solid reinforced concrete with use of large-panel, tunnel or small-panel forms.

Solid buildings’ construction is of utmost importance within the context of seismological aspect of the country position. Multi-storey buildings in highly populated cities and areas allow saving expensive fertile lands.

The adequate professionalism of employed staff and the implementation of modern technologies allow increasing the strength of MONOLIT JSC as the leader of solid housing construction among construction companies.

MONOLIT JSC ensures a complex system of work execution, including as follows: project designing and falsework production; development of assembly charts for construction works’ execution; estimate drawing; conduct of customer function.
